Since it’s founding Adventure Club of Andhra Pradesh ACAP has been primarily a volunteer organization.

With just a very small staff, ACAP relies on volunteers who help in a wide variety of ways to bring programs.

You can be as involved as you choose to be, there are jobs that take a little time and some that take more, and they are all important.

A Brief Introduction


     Adventure Club of Andhra Pradesh ACAP, established in the year 1991, is an autonomous body and came into existence with a clear intention of promoting Adventure Activities specifically in Andhra Pradesh and in general, in any other area.


     Andhra Pradesh state, with its unique geographical features has every kind of terrain except snow-clad mountains and natural resources for it’s out bound actions and activities on land water and sky. These resources give a vast scope for adventure actions and also for nature-cum-environmental studies.


     There is no other organization in Andhra Pradesh other than ACAP, which promotes Adventure Activities. ACAP has die-hard adventure professionals who are dedicated, trained and experienced in various aspects of Adventure Activities.

     ACAP through its regular training activities introduces and imparts thorough technical knowledge both theoretical and practical in various ever-changing aspects of Adventure Actions.


     ACAP aims to take adventure to all the sections of society and instill in them the spirit of adventure and thus enable them to face the challenges of the new era.


     ACAP has identified areas of operation in all the districts of Andhra Pradesh and conducts various adventure activities.


     ACAP has so far trained or introduced the Adventure Activities to over 3, 50,569. Enthusiasts in the state of Andhra Pradesh. ACAP so far organized 350 Trekking Camps at Horsley Hills, Talakona, Tirumala Forest, Nalamalla forest, Alisagar, Kunatal, Khammam, Srisailam forest. Rock Climbing camps around 565 all over state. Rafting around 120 camps,


     Camp Leader Training Programs around 75camps, and about 90 search and rescue camps, 120 Parasailing camps were taken place. 31 Hot Air Ballooning Tanning camps,14 adventure festivals at all over Andhra Pradesh, 120 Sport Climbing Camps and also constructed 36’ feet sport climbing wall inside the youth hostel premises, also recently hosted  Hyderabad cup, national climbing competitions on our wall


     ACAP also extended its professional support to a lot of schools, corporate groups, associations, communities and other such organized groups in conducting their outbound and adventure activities.


     ACAP would continue to support any adventure related activity to the best of their capacity
